Vincent Liquète

Vincent Liquète, Professor at IUFM – Bordeaux 4, will be taking part in the panel on Information Literacy development and training in educational contexts: creating knowledgeable and critical 21st century citizens, scheduled in EMMILE Programme on Feb. 27th, afternoon.

Vincent Liquète(1966) was school librarian until 1999, in high schools, middle colleges and at the University of Bordeaux. Doctor in sciences of the information and the communication, in 2000, its thesis concerns the analysis of the informative practices of the professors. He becomes associate professor in the University of Bordeaux. Since 2010 he has managed the department of Documentation at the University of Bordeaux 4, a department that educates and trains, in the field of  librarianship and documentation, future school librarians, librarians and information specialists. He is the author of numerous articles and some books in particular “The autonomous work ” (Armand Colin, 2007 ) or “Mediations” ( CNRS edition, 2010 ). He is chief editor of the multidisciplinary review “Esquisse”; among the issues of “Les Cahiers de l’Esquisse”, he co-directed and authored Du CDI à la bibliothèque universitaire : former les usagers à l’information (n.1/Jan.2010).   Its research laboratory is the IMS-Equipe Cognitique and Human Engineering (UMR 5218 – CNRS National Center for Scientific Research). He was member elected by the IFLA from 2001 till 2004. He participated in the researches Erté “Culture of the information and documentary curriculum “. He participates at present in the national research LIMIN-R on the informative translittéracies.
